How you get in
- Status: open
- Countries: denylist (global expert network; workforce distributed across 39 countries, no published country exclusions found)
- Credentials: required — verifiable mid-to-senior expertise in a specific domain; preferred — granular profile detail (exact role, industry, deal/case types, specialties)
- Assessment: none · credentials-gated — no task assessment to pass — a 15-minute Expert Tutorial is required before paid projects and Ethos may verify stated credentials against your work history. The real gate is domain seniority, not a test.

FAQ
Is Ethos legit?
Yes. Ethos (Ethos Artificial Intelligence Limited) is a London company founded in 2024 by ex-DeepMind and ex-McKinsey alumni, and it raised a $22.75M Series A led by Andreessen Horowitz in 2026 (General Catalyst led the seed). It operates as an AI-driven expert network used by research teams, investment funds, and AI labs. To be clear about my own position: I hold a referral link but have not personally worked Ethos, so this is public-record information, not firsthand proof.
Who is Ethos actually for?
Mid-to-senior professionals with verifiable expertise in a specific, high-value domain — lawyers, physicians, PE/VC investors, management consultants, finance specialists, and credentialed technical experts. It is explicitly not built for beginners or generalists: the whole premium depends on domain depth a general rater can't replicate. If you don't have a credentialed specialty yet, start elsewhere and come back once you do.
How much does Ethos pay, and when?
Third-party tracking puts rates at about $50-$225/hr, with a median near $100/hr and the top end in law, medicine, and PE/VC. The exact rate is set per engagement and shown before you accept, so there's no single platform-wide number. The trade-off: payment is reported as Net-30, which is far slower than the weekly platforms most people start on. Confirm current terms in-platform before committing.
What do I get if you sign up through my link?
I don't know the exact terms, and I'd rather say that than invent a number. Ethos doesn't publish a member-referral bonus, and the link simply routes you to the expert signup. If anything is offered for joining via a referral, check your dashboard and the expert terms after sign-up.
